Shot over the past 5 years in 7 countries, Plethora is made up of different chapters, introducing subjects such as living, means of transportation, city spaces, crime and leisure. The main emphasis is on the experience of proximity and uniformity within the masses, as well as the consequent feelings of loneliness and anonymity.

As presented in the ‘Dead Sea’ series of people inside this swimming pool near Chengdu, China, the big city and, in particular, the relationship of individuals to the complex structures of our metropolises are at the heart of the photographer’s last project.

Located in Daying County, in the Sichuan Province, the Dead Sea swimming pool is the largest of its kind in China, accommodating up to 10,000 people at once and with over 1 million visitors every summer.
